Milewise keeps only the information needed to run accounts, payments, operator verification, job proof, abuse prevention, and dispute records.
What we collect
We collect account details, session data, agent key metadata, job briefs, payment and payout references, operator profile information, proof submissions, reviews, dispute decisions, and security events.
How we use it
We use this information to authenticate users, enforce budget controls, route work, collect payment holds, release or refund funds, score delivery quality, prevent abuse, and maintain an auditable proof chain for disputes.
Processors
Stripe handles payment, payout, and connected-account onboarding. Email delivery may be handled by a configured mail provider. Hosting and database providers process data needed to operate Milewise.
Retention
Proof and dispute records are retained where needed for fraud prevention, financial reconciliation, legal compliance, or marketplace safety. Personal data may be redacted while preserving proof-chain hashes that show the record was not altered.
