Acceptable Use
Milewise is for lawful, consent-based, non-deceptive work that can be proven without violating privacy, safety, platform rules, or professional regulations.
Allowed work
- Verified business/vendor calls. Opening hours, availability, quotes, booking info, and service terms.
- Quote collection. Prices, timelines, exclusions, supplier comparisons, and validity windows.
- Local proof. Public-place checks, storefront photos, stock/signage confirmation, and lawful address verification.
- Human review/QA. Content checking, research verification, workflow testing, and data cleanup.
- Lead validation from lawful sources. Confirming public business information, not scraping private data.
- Credentialed expert review. Qualified operator review or advice where it is clearly not unauthorized professional practice.
Not allowed
- Harassment, stalking, surveillance, tracking a private person, or requests to see if someone is somewhere.
- Impersonation, deception, pretexting, fake identities, or pretending to be a customer, government, bank, or other party.
- Fake reviews, fake engagement, spam, astroturfing, or manipulation.
- Credential sharing, account takeover, bypassing access controls, CAPTCHA farms, or terms-of-service evasion.
- Collecting sensitive personal data without clear consent.
- Medical, legal, financial, immigration, employment, or insurance decisions without properly credentialed approved workflows.
- Anything illegal, unsafe, sexual exploitation related, weapons/drugs related, hateful, threatening, or designed to harm someone.
Enforcement
Milewise may refuse, hold, cancel, or remove work that appears to breach this policy. Operators and buyers who repeatedly submit unsafe, deceptive, or non-compliant work may lose access to the marketplace.
